The Brooke Mulford Foundation is a registered 501C that helps raise awareness and money to fight and fund research for pediatric cancer and help families on the Delmarva Peninsula whose child under 18 becomes diagnosed with cancer.
Mission Statement
The Mission of the Brooke Mulford Foundation is to raise funds to provide financial assistance to families with children dealing with childhood cancers from the Delmarva Peninsula, to fund research related to the prevention, treatment and cure of these diseases and to provide supplies and support for pediatric patients at the hospitals of the Delmarva Peninsula.
Goals
- Hold annual events to raise money to fund the mission of the Brooke Mulford Foundation
- Create and maintain an interactive website where families from the Delmarva Peninsula dealing with childhood cancers can apply for financial support and locate resources for emotional and spiritual support.
- Raise awareness of the prevalence of childhood cancers on the Delmarva Peninsula and promote research activities to address these diseases.
Meeting Schedule
Bi-annual meetings of the Board of Directors will be held with quarterly meetings of the Executive Committee and the Grants Committee. Special meetings of the Board of Directors and the Grants Committee can be duly called by any officer of the Brooke Mulford Foundation.
